Kaartika Maasam as per Hindu calendar is a very auspicious month for Hindus. There are many references to this month, ranging from mythology to culture. It has often been popularised as a month of pujas and offerings.
One commonly followed ritual is to gather as families and friends, and dine, especially under the Amla tree. Keeping up with this tradition, at Project Vanam, we conduct a conclave for artists, which include day long performances and Vana Bhojanaalu.
